IIn order to support teachers interested in implementing Model UN in the curriculum, UNA-GB organizes professional development opportunities throughout the year. Please check back to the web site for more information and new opportunities as they are added.

Model UN Skill Building: Teaching Global Issues through Model UN
This full-day workshop offers teachers the opportunity to learn how to bring the benefits of Model UN into the classroom. It also provides Model UN advisors with useful ideas for building Model UN skills and helping students to prepare for a Model UN conference. Workshop participants will gain insights into a current conference topic from an expert in the field.

Model UN Workshop for Students and Teachers
Excite your students and teach yourself about Model UN at the SAME time!
Student WorkshopThe first UNA-GB Model UN skills workshops for students will engage your students in public speaking.  NO PREVIOUS MODEL UN EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! 

This session also features a Teacher Workshop. While your students are engaged, share or gather expertise and Model UN resources from other advisors and UNA-GB.  Make a plan for connecting your students with Model UN!

This workshop is free and open to all public middle and high schools students from Boston, Somerville, Cambridge, Revere, Chelsea, Everett, Lynn and Malden.
