A visit to United Nations Headquarters in New York is an exciting and rewarding experience. Both young people and adults enjoy the behind the scenes guided tour, taking you into the Security Council and General Assembly, through international art exhibits, all while learning about the important work of the UN.
To assist educators in making the necessary arrangements for a one-day field trip to the UN, we provide the following information on how to arrange a UN tour, mission briefing, and optional visit to Ellis Island.

The months of April, May and June are very popular with school groups and reservations should be made by December, especially for groups with 50 or more students to ensure a preferred date and time.
