Annual Conferences

We reach out to the Business and professional communities for an annual conference bringing together the public and private sectors to discuss such important global issues as microfinance, women's priorities, water scarcity, global health, and development.

As part of the UN's goal to develop relationships with the business and professional communities, UNA-GB holds annual conferences on timely international topics. The conferences bring together experts from the public and private sector as well as from the international system, NGOs, and local organizations in the field, for a one-day program of keynote presentations and panel discussions with question-and-answer periods for attendees to participate in the dialogue. The conference findings are summarized in a Conference Report which is presented to appropriate government and international organization entities.
