February 16, 2006- The UN In The 21st Century: Luncheon with Paul Hoeffler
Paul Hoeffler, Chief of the NGO Section of the Department of Public Information at the United Nations spoke on the new challenges facing the UN, and the progress on reforms made since the 2005 Summit of World Leaders.
February 9, 2006 - UNA-GB Young Professionals for International Cooperation Social
A chance to meet other YPIC members,and to discuss pressing global issues. At the home of UNA-GB President Arthur Holcombe.
March 8, 2006- International Women's Day
The Women's Forum @ UNA-GB celebrated International Women's Day with a reception and film screeing of Goodbye Baby, followed by a discussion with filmmaker Pat Goudvis.
March 30, 2006 - Berklee International Folk Music Festival
Talented Berklee students from around the world perform. Lots of energy on stage, and fun to watch. Champagne Reception precedes the show.

The Annual Kimball Lecture at Milton Academy with UN Under-Secretary-General for Management, Christopher Burham, focused on strengthening the UN through management and budgetary reforms.
June 15, 2006 – Launch of the Women’s Forum @ UNA-GB
A special evening to launch the new Women’s Forum @ UNA-GB. With Pulitzer Prize winning author Caroline Elkins. Proceeds to benefit an organization working with women in Kenya.
July 25, 2006 – Women’s Forum: Himalayan Project
A summer dinner program in Marion with Sally Hunsdorfer, founder of The Himalayan Project, which supports a school for Sherpa Children in Nepal.
August 23, 2006 - Womens' Forum - Project Healthy Children
A summer dinner program in Falmouth with Gail Milla, who works with the Project Healthy Children in Honduras, providing mothers with folic acid to prevent birth defects.
September 30, 2006 – Securing Africa’s Future
A Conference on Problems and Prospects for Socio-Economic Development and Poverty Alleviation. At the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
