Two hundred years ago, John Quincy Adams was sent to Moscow as the first U.S. envoy to Russia. For two centuries, this relationship has fostered scientific,
economic, artistic and social connections. Join us on September 26 for a celebration of the bicentennial and to reflect on the past and future of the relationship between these two powerful countries. Other activities marking the day will take place at Massachusetts Historical Society and the Massachusetts State House.

Russian Icons Exhibition
A special exhibition from the Museum of Russian Icons in Clinton, Massachusetts featuring masterpieces of Russian icon painting ranging from the 16th to the 20th centuries opens at 12:00 in the Shawmut Room at the Harvard Club and will remain open following the luncheon. |
