Lena Granberg returned to UNAGB in November 2015 as interim Executive Director, having previously served in the position from 2000-2014. Lena’s passion is global education, with an emphasis of looking at issues from different perspectives. Prior to joining UNAGB in 2000, Lena worked for two decades for Boston-based World Times, Inc., publisher of The WorldPaper, an international newspaper presenting perspectives from around the world on global concerns and distributed in six languages with partner publications in more than twenty countries. With responsibilities at various times ranging from overseeing the production and advertising sales, to coordinating the Associate Publication network and organizing conferences on global topics, Lena’s positions included Business Manager and Publisher. While at The WorldPaper, Lena traveled to many countries in Europe, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe. Lena spent her elementary school years in Sweden, went to middle school in France, earned an International Baccalaureate at the International School of Geneva, and a B.A. from Yale University.
