Raina Kadavil
Model UN Conference Operations Fellow

Raina Kadavil is a rising junior at Boston University studying International Relations with a specialization in Security Studies in the Middle East and North Africa. She is no stranger to UNA-USA, as her very first internship was with the President of UNA-USA’s Southern New York chapter. Since then, she has spent three years as the Programming Coordinator and later Communications Specialist for the Youth Assembly at the United Nations, served as the Chief of Staff and USG of Modern Crisis Committees for the 9th Boston Area Model United Nations Conference, interned for the President of the International Commission of Jurists in Australia, and worked on policy and legal casework for David Lammy MP in Westminster. She is also a Coca-Cola Scholar, the co-founder of Global Ambassadors Interact, Editor-in-Chief of BU’s International Relations Review, and the author of the Young Adult Fiction novel “The Voice of Thunder.” She has spoken at the United Nations on multiple occasions. Raina revels in the “nitty-gritty” of putting together a conference and cannot wait to tackle UNA USA GB’s conferences this year!
