Tausif is a senior at Boston University and is pursuing a double major in biology and international relations. He is from Dhaka, Bangladesh. In the summer of 2015, Tausif had the opportunity to work for Sir Fazle Hasan Abed, the founder of the world’s largest NGO, BRAC. Over the summer of 2017, he had the honour to work under the tutelage of professor Muhammad Yunus, the winner of a Nobel Peace Prize and considered as the founder of microfinance. Working under figures of such repute have inspired him to seek out positive social change and help his communities. He aspires to pursue a career in diplomacy and is deeply passionate about efforts to alleviate poverty in Bangladesh.
