U.N. Perspective Series: Reduced Inequalities from UNAGB on Vimeo.

Everyone deserves equal access, respect, justice, & opportunities. Join global and local leaders to discuss the importance of economic equality, and the actions we should be taking to achieve it.

About this Event

The U.N. Perspective Series are free events aiming to build community and convene global and local perspectives on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Presented by the United Nations Association of Greater Boston (UNAGB) and Impact Hub Boston, each U.N. Perspective Series focuses on a specific SDG and opens dialogue between global experts, local leaders, and the Greater Boston community.

This November, in preparation for Human Rights Day, we will focus on SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities and specifically explore the work that has been done, and needs to be done, to improve economic equality.

We will hear from impact investors, nonprofit leaders, entrepreneurs and micro-finance experts on how we can give more opportunity to those who have been systematically excluded from economic activity…and have suffered as a result.

Speakers include…

Betty Francisco: General Counsel, Compass Working Capital and Investor, Pipeline Angels

Segun Idowu: Executive Director of the Black Economic Council of Massachusetts

Steve Distante: Chairman and Founder of Vanderbilt Financial Group, and Founder of Impact U
