Yash Manuja
Education Intern

Yash is a freshman at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, majoring in Political Science and aspiring to have a career in government, preferably foreign service. Having spent half of his life in Delhi, India, Yash has had the unique opportunity to immerse himself in both Indian and American cultures, contributing to a more well-rounded understanding of global politics and international relations. Yash served as the head of his high school’s Model UN Club. He singlehandedly hosted his school’s inaugural MUN conference before passing the baton to his juniors and assuming an advisory position as an MUN Mentor. At UMass, Yash serves as a Senator in the Student Government and is an active member of the International Relations Club. These experiences have inspired Yash to give back to the community. Through mentoring aspiring global citizens and assisting his younger brother with studies, he has discovered his passion for educating the youth, particularly in engaging them in the global issues of today.
